Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci has finally announced the follow-up to his 2005 debut solo album Suspended Animation. Petrucci has begun teasing his new record Terminal Velocity, which is due out sometime this fall. No new music is yet available, but you can check out a teaser for the record below.
It'll be interesting to see who Petrucci gets as his backing band on this record too. Who knows – maybe we'll get a Portnoy/Petrucci reunion?
