The Black Dahlia Murder are on pace to continue their tradition of releasing a new album every two years. With their last instant classic, Abysmal, having been released in 2015, the band are about due for something new. We already know the band are in the studio hard at work, but what does the new stuff sound like?
Well, new drummer Alan Cassidy was kind enough to share two short teasers of him tracking drums (which seem to be done, hooray!). I mean… it sounds like The Black Dahlia Murder, obviously. And it's great:
We have no idea when this album comes out, but we're guessing late in the summer at the earliest. In the meantime, check out frontman Trevor Strnad's monthly death metal recommendation column, The Obituarist.
