Every-Time-I-Die-2019

Every Time I Die is wrapping up their first new record since 2016, and from what we've heard it's going to be really heavy. Though don't take our word for it. Guitarist Andy Williams recently confirmed what we were thinking on the MetalSucks podcast, saying "the shit we’re doing on this record is fuckin’ crazy. It’s wild." He also adds that producer Will Putney (Thy Art is MurderFit for an AutopsyNorma Jean) pushed the band to do some new, crazier stuff.

Low Teens was a good record, but the shit we’re doing on this record is fuckin’ crazy. It’s wild. I probably have the same conversation about every one of our records, but this record is not like anything we’ve done before. We’ve taken so many chances. Will even said, ‘I want to get dangerous on this record.’ And we all kind of had that attitude of, ‘Let’s get fuckin’ dangerous.’ It’s crazy.

“When people hear it, it’s going to be like, ‘Oh, okay, I can really do something cool 22 years down the line.’ And that’s the thing. If you think about 22 years, we’ve seen so many bands come and go. So many great bands just come and go. We’re still there. Those bands that we looked up to now are like, ‘How the fuck are you guys doing this?’ And, I don’t know. Perseverance. We’re very stubborn people that have always persevered through bullshit.”

As for new music, Every Time I Die has so far played a new song possibly called "Planet Shit" alongside two songs titled "White Void" and "Back Distance."
