You may already know that Exodus is going to be releasing their new album Blood In, Blood Out on October 14 via Nuclear Blast Records.
You also may have known that former Exodus guitarist Kirk Hammett will be guest soloing on the song "Salt the Wound."
Today, we learned of a few more guest appearances. Testament's vocalist Chuck Billy would be on a song titled "BTK" as well. Makes sense.
However, one surprising guest appearance has been announced… hip-hop producer and electronica artist Dan the Automator.
Dan, as I'm going to refer to him from here on out, will be guesting on the opening track "Black 13" in some capacity or another. It's not clear if he just produced the track or has any instrumental contributions to the track, or even co-wrote the track. His name is just next to that song and that's basically all we know right now.
A quick search of Dan reveals he did have a band with Faith No More's Mike Patton called Crudo back in 2008 that never really did much, and he produced the first Gorillaz album. I guess we'll see what's up with Exo-dan soon enough.
