In a recent social media update, chart-topping alternative metallers, Chevelle, has given us a short glimpse at their studio activities. Drummer Sam Loeffler can be spotted diligently laying down tracks, with his brother and band's frontman, Pete Loeffler, capturing the behind-the-scenes action on camera. While details on the upcoming material remain scarce, maybe a tentative release in 2024 is on the horizon. Check out the video below.
Chevelle recently wrapped up a US tour with Three Days Grace, so maybe the focus now is on an upcoming album? All we know is that Sam Loeffler said in a 2022 interview that the band is cerrtainly not short on new songs.
"We have a whole bunch of music written now that we're trying to put together another record for [the future]," he said. "Because that's what we do — you put music out, you write… It'll be our first record in a long time not with a major label, which is just neither here nor there. Epic Records did a lot of good stuff; we were with them for a long time, but we're finished with that contract now. So now we're doing something different. And we'll see how different it is."
