MISERY INDEX Is Working On Their First New Album Since 2022

They said it's a slow moving process.

Misery Index is working on the follow-up to their 2022 record Complete Control, though you shouldn't expect to hear it anytime soon. According to Misery Index on Instagram, three quarters of the band – bassist and vocalist Jason Netherton, guitarist Darin Morris, and drummer Adam Jarvis – recently got together to start writing whatever brutal material they've got in the works.

"Tools of the Trade!!!" wrote Misery Index on their Instagram. "3/4ths of us clandestinely convened for a brutal riff session and put new songs on the chopping block.The songwriting gears are in motion – but more like a slow moving tank than a peregrine falcon. Stay tuned for updates as the world burns…"
