Arch Enemy is moving quickly. Even though they just released a new album last year, and had a pretty notable lineup change with the addition of mega-shredder Jeff Loomis.
Now that the group is on tour, naturally, during interviews, there will be questions as to how big a part of the band is Loomis. Is he just filling in? Permanant member? What's the deal? On the Rock recently spoke with both guitarists, Michael Amott and Jeff Loomis and asked if Loomis would be performing on the next Arch Enemy record:
“I’m really looking forward to the next album at some point and working with Jeff as well, which is something that I’m really looking forward to.”
From the grinning expression on Loomis' face as Amott was saying this, Loomis seemed to agree. So this is great news. Now does this mean Loomis will contributing not just to the recording but the wriring process as well? I guess we'll have to wait for that answer, but this is surely an exciting time to be an Arch Enemy fan.
