Times Of Grace, the band featuring Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and vocalist Jesse Leach, as well as drummer Dan Gluszak, has been working on their first new record since 2011 throughout this year. Dutkiewicz recently told Grasser Production that Times Of Grace still has a little ways to go in terms of what needs to be recorded, but he's eyeing up a late fall 2020 release right now.
"We're working on it. We've got four more songs to record vocals on. Then I have a lot of guitar parts and bass parts to record. I'm thinking it will be done by early next year, and then maybe we'd release it in about a year. There's a lot that still needs to happen for all of that to be in motion."
The new Times Of Grace album is only the band's second, but their first to feature both Dutkiewicz and Leach while they're in Killswitch Engage. The first Times Of Grace album happened when Howard Jones was fronting Killswitch Engage.
Leach also added in the same interview that his vocal approach to Times Of Grace this time around will be more poetic and even feature some spoken word.
"It's liberating. It really is what it is. And the lyrics, I take a different approach to that stuff. On this next one, there's a lot of real poetry, I'd say. There's a couple of [spoken-word parts]. I'm really stoked. Especially the last session we had, I'm really happy with the way it's coming out."
