KORN Is Aiming To Have Their New Album Out By This Time Next Year

Jonathan Davis also gets his statement right this time.

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis recently said the band was working with outside forces on their new album. He then clarified that the band is working with producers and not writers, and he's made sure to specifically get that sentiment across this time around in his new Korn-based revelation.

Davis tells WhatCulture that Korn will reconvene in July to start putting together the new album and that he'll do vocals once he's back from his solo tour. Davis adds that Korn probably won't have the new stuff out until around this time in 2019.

"[Guitarists] Head and Munky have been writing with a couple different producers, working on riffs and putting them down, cataloguing everything. We're gonna get together as a band in July and start putting their ideas together in the studio and start working on it. So, yeah, it's in the future, definitely. When I get back after this European [solo] run, I start writing vocals for the stuff that they've done. We're gonna keep working through the year, so hopefully we'll have one out, probably, this time next year."

This will be Korn's thirteenth album overall since their inception in 1993, just in case you wanted to feel old.
