Marilyn Manson is working on the follow-up to his 2017 record Heaven Upside Down, and better yet he's working with outlaw country artist Shooter Jennings on the effort. Manson and Jennings have previously teamed up for a David Bowie cover, so it'll be interesting to see how they pair on original material, and to what extent Jennings gets involved.
It's also not clear who has officially replaced bassist Twiggy. Last we heard, bassist Juan Alderete (ex-The Mars Volta, ex-Racer X) was filling in with Manson live, but was never announced as an official member.
Manson will have the spring to work on new material but he will be busy all summer long, on tour with Rob Zombie. Here are the dates:
