Looks like Queens Of The Stone Age fans won't have to wait four or five years between records like they have with the last two. According to ZZ Top guitarist and vocalist Billy Gibbons in an interview with Eonmusic, both he and Foo Fighters guitarist and vocalist Dave Grohl are set to be featured on the new Queens Of The Stone Age album.
"Just one month ago I was making a record with Queens Of The Stone Age, and Dave Grohl was also taking part and he decided to have a big barbecue. So there was this interesting gathering. So, we spent one hour telling stories, great stories remembering [Vinnie Paul Abbott and "Dimebag" Darrell]."
Gibbons added that Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist and vocalist Josh Homme has "completed it. I think that he said he wants to put it out Halloween. It'll be good." So no official word on whether or not this is true, but maybe start getting excited.
Grohl was previously featured on the band's 2012 album …Like Clockwork and 2002 album Songs For The Deaf. Gibbons has not yet been featured on a Queens Of The Stone Age album.
