From 1985 to present day, Overkill has steadily released album after album of solid thrash. 2016 shows no sign of the band slowing its pace down either, as frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth has told Alternative Nation that the band's new album Grinding Wheel is on track to be released the first week of November (via Nuclear Blast)!
"I was just adjusting the lyrics for our upcoming album. We are inches from completion at this point. Just a few more guitar leads need to be done and a few more backing vocals need to be done. The majority of the tracks are finished. We are looking for a first-week-of-November release."
Ellsworth says the album keeps with Overkill's classic thrash elements, though I think that's basically to be assumed by fans at this point. Don't fix what isn't broken, right?
