Despite Black Sabbath wrapping up in 2017, frontman Ozzy Osbourne doesn't seem to keen on the idea of retiring with the band. Last week, his keyboardist hinted that a new solo album and tour might be in the works after Sabbath wraps up and today, the Prince of Darkness confirms it.
Ozzy tells Metro.us that he's currently messing around with some new song ideas, and that he plans to hit the studio in 2017.
"I have a few things jotted down and once Black Sabbath is off the road, I will be heading into the studio with my band to get the songs recorded. Once it’s all in the can you can be sure to see me back on the road again.”
It's been six years since we got Scream, though there was Black Sabbath's 13 to kind of fill that gap a little bit. Either way, are you stoked on some new Ozzy material in 2017?
