It's been five years since Pig Destroyer's latest album Book Burner and unfortunately, you're going to have to wait a little bit longer. The band has just announced it has entered its own Visceral Sound Studios in Bethesda, Maryland, and expects to have the new album out in summer 2018. This has been the longest wait between Pig Destroyer albums, but considering that everything the band does is pretty much perfect, it's hard to complain.
The album will be the first Pig Destroyer full length to feature John Jarvis, cousin of drummer Adam Jarvis. Outside that, we don't know a ton, but you can check out a new Pig Destroyer song that may or may not be on the album below. The song was performed at SXSW 2017, and maybe you'll hear some more new material at Decibel's Metal & Beer Festival 2018 too!
