Satyricon's output within the last 10 years has been sparse. There was The Age Of Nero in 2008, Satyricon in 2013, and the live album Live At The Opera in 2015, though I'm sure frontman Satyr's brain tumor didn't exactly aid the band in being prolific. Regardless, a full four years after the band's self-titled, Satyricon has announced it's currently in the studio recording.
Furthermore, the group has decided the new album will come out September 22, so that's something to potentially look forward to.
