Sevendust is one of those bands that I feel like never gets enough praise for being as good and as consistent as they are. The band just released All I See Is War in May 2018, and according to guitarist Clint Lowery they're already eyeing up possibly recording another new album this year.
Lowery also mentions in his interview with Anne Erickson that he's going to release a new solo album this year. So that's something else to look forward to.
“We don’t want to wait a long time. We’ll probably end up recording a new record at the end of this year. We already have ideas kind of floating around for it. I’ll do a solo record in June and record it and release it after the Sevendust cycle slows down, but we’ll probably end up tracking a record this year.”
It's also probably worth noting that a friend of mine in grade school gave me Animosity when I was about 12 years old and that record really helped me get into heavy music. Thanks, Sevendust.
