Long-running alt-meets-nü band SOiL is re-recording their biggest hits as part of the upcoming new compilation Restoration. The compilation will be out on July 21 and will include a new version of "The Lesser Man" with original (and current) SOiL vocalist Ryan McCombs, as opposed to AJ Cavalier who originally appeared on the 2009 track. "Ryan's vocals add a new twist and direction to the song. It truly gives it a breath of fresh air," said SOiL bassist Tim King.
- "Breaking Me Down"
- "Way Gone"
- "Redefine"
- "Halo"
- "The Lesser Man"
- "Wide Open"
- "Unreal"
- "Pride"
- "Shine On"
- "The One"
- "Deny Me"
SOiL always felt like one of those bands that flew under the radar despite being around for damn near three decades. And I mean look, they were exactly doing Korn and Papa Roach numbers back in the day, but they've got a pretty solid following and quite a few songs in the millions (and tens of millions) streams.
