Stone Sour has made it known that it's in the studio recording a new album, but we didn't really know too much in the way of specifics. Fortunately Rock Cellar managed to track down Corey Taylor at the recent NAMM convention and asked him about what we can expect.
According to Taylor, the new album is called Hydrograd. It's mostly recorded live in the studio with "some extra layers" on top, and it's probably going to be pretty long. Taylor says the band has done 9 songs already and they're only about "halfway through," so I guess they're going to record 18 tracks? Maybe it'll be a double album!
Today @NAMMShow, @CoreyTaylorRock officially confirmed to us that @stonesour's new LP is titled #Hydrograd. Full interview soon! #NAMMShow pic.twitter.com/0upDzdj1ID
