In some more positive Soundwave news… Suicide Silence made their live debut with new vocalist Eddie Hermida at the Australian festival over the weekend, and looks like Eddie fits in just swell:

Even more revealing, was during an interview at Soundwave, Eddie revealed that on the new album, which the band have completed, there will be one song featuring the final lyrics penned by late vocalist Mitch Lucker:
"We have a song on there. Mitch left behind some lyrics, and we actually incorporated it into a song. It's about him being bigger than life, you know what I mean?! It's about finding that true resilience within yourself to keep going, which really means the world to us, 'cause, obviously, that's what we're doing. It came out very beautiful."
You can watch Eddie say the words at around the 3:25 mark:

Overall, the band seem really excited for the year ahead of them. I'm assuming since the album is in the mixing and mastering phase, we should be hearing new music this spring, with a release this summer. While I have no intel in the matter, I have to believe that the band's big summer touring plans would involve the Mayhem Festival, a fest they've played twice in the past and basically the biggest touring option for the summer in the States. Needless to say, we'll be hearing a lot from Suicide Silence in 2014, and seeing many walls of death:
