Now that Mötley Crüe is over and The Dirt is out, drummer Tommy Lee is ready to take on new projects. Lee recently guests on his wife Brittany Furlan's podcast and revealed that he'll be resurrecting his Methods Of Mayhem project. Lee confirmed the new record would be out late April or early May, and will showcase a number of unconfirmed guests.
Methods Of Mayhem was active from 1999 to 2000, and then again from 2009 to 2011. The group released two albums thus far – Methods Of Mayhem in 1999 and A Public Disservice Announcement in 2010. So basically every 10 years or so Lee decides to dig the project up from the grave. The former record featured such guests as Snoop Dogg, Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst and George Clinton, while the latter recruited Sum 41 guitarist Deryck Whibley, Nickelback vocalist Chad Kroeger, Skrillex, Deftones' frontman Chino Moreno and deadmau5.
So keep an eye out for an announcement soon alongside presumably who the guests are.
