Watain are pretty well known in the metal scene, and for good reason; they're way good. Now they're back to haunt our brains and worship Satan with a their new record The Wild Hunt! Come get the details!
The Wild Hunt is going to be sick and there's nothing you can say to convince me otherwise, though you can prove yourself wrong if you think that on June 25 when they release their first single "All That May Bleed." If you're not into the whole "waiting for stuff" thing, then go check out the trailer we posted up a little while back. It's sick! The single will be out on a bunch of limited edition vinyl and digital download, available somewhere (the press release doesn't say) on June 25. You'll know when we do! While we're talking about the potential greatness of the record, look at that damn artwork. Just take a long, hard look at it and appreciate all the work Zbigniew M. Bielak put into that. About the artwork:
The piece depicts one of the inmost shrines of Watain's temple. As on every classic still life, each object has a significant meaning, while each song of the album is also connected to an object.
Evil temples, skulls, pentagrams, treasure… I'm sold. Oh, and then there's the track list:
1. Night Vision
2. De Profundis
3. Black Flames March
4. All That May Bleed
5. The Child Must Die
6. They Rode On
7. Sleepless Evil
8. The Wild Hunt
9. Outlaw
10. Ignem Veni Mittere
11. Holocaust Dawn
