WES BORLAND Thinks LIMP BIZKIT Will Start Working On A New Record Soon

"I feel that the comradery and creativity within the group is at an all-time high."

Wes Borland

Limp Bizkit released their first album in a decade Still Sucks in October 2021. The album came with very little warning, and was met with generally positive reviews. Now in a new interview with PRS, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland said creativity is at a high point in the band right now and that he hopes they'll work on a new record after their tour.

"Now that Still Sucks has kind of cleared our pipes, I feel that the camaraderie and creativity within the group is at an all-time high. I wouldn't be surprised if a new album is in the works shortly after our 2022 touring concludes. Anything is possible."

Borland also discussed playing live with Limp Bizkit lately, saying that breaking out some older material has been a total blast.

"I'm so thrilled to be able to finally add new material to our set. I mean, we already switch our set around every night and make changes and additions to it while we're in the middle of shows, but to actually add new material (not covers, or deep cuts off of older albums that we haven't played in a long time for example: we recently knocked the dust off of 'Nobody Loves Me' from our first album) has been a treat for me personally. The older songs are so hardwired into my brain that it's nice to kind of wake up the mental muscles that are in charge of handling new data."

Limp Bizkit will hit the road for the Still Sucks tour later this month with a handful of openers including $not, Dying Wish, Wargasm, and Scowl.
