AEGES Streams Noisy, Grunge-Tinged New Single "Rotten"

Beefy riffs abound.

Aeges – the band featuring guitarist and vocalist Kemble Walters (Chevelle, Juliette & the Licks) and bassist Tony Baumeister (Burton C. Bell) – is now streaming their new single "Rotten" alongside an animated music video by Ted Dore (and featuring live footage by Danielle Hardy).

"We recently completed work on an album's worth of new songs," said Baumeister. "We chose to lead with 'Rotten', because it's a no-nonsense banger that gets straight to the point. The video was enhanced by Ted Dore, who took the performance footage, and (inspired by the lyrics) created a cataclysmic backdrop that grows more dire by the minute. It turned out even better than we expected."

"Rotten" also features session drummer Dylan Howard of The Lungs fame, as well as session guitarist Cory Clark. Aeges will play the release show for "Rotten" on September 7 at Harvard and Stone in Hollywood, CA and admission is free. Sages from Sacramento will be support.
