Dutch death metal unit Asphyx will release their new album Necroceros on January 21. The band is now streaming the slow-burning new single "Knights Templar Stand", whose absolutely filthy riffs practically demand to be blasted at full volume.
"It's a mainly very heavy uptempo track about the Knights Templar battling bravely in the Levant," said vocalist Martin van Drunen. "Outnumbered by many, standing their ground until the very end. A typical Asphyx song in our well-known neck-breaking metal style and fashion."
The album was mixed and mastered by Sebastian "Seeb" Levermann (Rhapsody of Fire, Ross The Boss) and given artwork by Axel Hermann (Bloodbath, Iced Earth, Grave). Pre-order Necroceros here.
