Blind Guardian is now streaming their very heavy metal new single "Violent Shadows," which vocalist Hansi Kürsch points out was played during the band's WWW Virtual Wacken performance and was received very well. The single is off Blind Guardian's coming record The God Machine due out September 2.
"Since our WWW Virtual Wacken Performance, 'Violent Shadows' threw a massive, already overpowering shade on the expectations of The God Machine," said vocalist Hansi Kürsch. "We were pretty aware of the effects that the number would develop. The message is quite clear in my opinion: We're able to go straight forward! With the single release you get a very concise impression of the album's precision and intensity.
