Countess Erzsebet, who you might know as Xasthur live bassist Rachel Roomian, is now streaming "Banished To The Castle." The single is an interesting take on doom-tinged black metal, given the song was recorded in one take with Roomian playing both guitar and drums at the same time.
"I am thrilled to release these videos for my song 'Banished to a Castle Tower,'" said Roomian. "It is one of my favorite songs off my debut album. I filmed the first video in a secret castle on a rainy day and put it together to make you feel like you are stuck in a castle and are possibly a ghost. The live video is a glimpse into my exploration of playing simultaneous guitar and drums in a trance like state."
