Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie will release his new solo record Beautiful Shade Of Grey on May 20, and is now streaming the new single "Give And Take." The record features Paul Logue (Eden's Curse) on guitar and bass, guitarist Marco Sfogli handling leads, Eden's Curse keyboardist Christian Pulkkinen, and LaBrie's son Chance on drums.
"This track is a take on the coercive manipulation between the corporate elite and the proletariat class," said LaBrie. "An atmospheric soundscape with beautiful feel and scope."
"Musically 'Give & Take' is a nice balance of Dream Theater, Eden's Curse and a even little Queensrÿche thrown in for good measure," added Logue. "The dark musical undertones allow James' vocals to really shine whilst his lyrics take the listener on a journey through the classic tale of good versus evil."
