Mantric is an experimental progressive outfit out of Oslo, Norway. Norway is no stranger to putting out innovative music and Mantric is no exception to this rule. They fall pretty squarely on the border of progressive rock and progressive metal, but there's no question that the more metallic side of that border is where they excel. "Polyanna" is a polyrhythmic, synth-filled orchestra of sound that is an absolute blast!
The band states: "These days, we're first and foremost eager to enter the studio to record another album. But in the meanwhile, we've made this music video as a small reminder about last year's release, that we unfortunately didn't get to tour yet. The video was shot and edited by our good friend Timo Tiikeri, whose wife actually took the bandphotos for our first album. We sure miss connecting with an audience face to face, but since we can't do anything about it, we'll shut up the complaining and focus on making more creative hard music for the people.
