Deftones' 1997 record Around The Fur would go on to reach platinum status in the United States, and gold in both the United Kingdom and Australia. One month prior to its release, on September 11, 1997 at The Press Club in Sacramento, CA, the band broke out both "My Own Summer (Shove It)" and "Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away)" for the first time ever. The former can be seen above and the latter can be seen here. Both songs were recently unearthed by DeftonesLive, and neither have been posted prior to this.
I'm also just noticing both the hits off Around The Fur have parenthetical additions at the end of their song titled. Maybe there's something to that?
