We've gotten a taste of Gorguts' Luc Lemay's compositional prowess with strings on the band's 2013 album Colored Sands, specifically via the track "The Battle of Chamdo."
Lemnay has now premiered a 9-minute, untitled track at the Composer’s Forum for the music faculty at Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Québec. The trio consists of violin, viola, and cello, and you can check it out in all its dissonant glory.
