Slayer live guitarist Gary Holt recently headed home from the band's European farewell tour to be with his dying father. Holt is temporarily being filled in for by ex-Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel. Demmel took the stage with Slayer for the first time on December 3 at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, and fan footage has now surfaced from the performance.
