How To Destroy Angels was formed in 2009 by Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross prior to his joining the band, then-art director Rob Sheridan and vocalist and Reznor's wife Mariqueen Maandig. How To Destroy Angels was pretty active up to 2013, at which point they released their only studio full-length and played their last shows.
The group reprised their existence during Nine Inch Nails' December 7 show at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA, where they played "Welcome Oblivion," "Parasite" and "A Drowning."
