IHSAHN & LEPROUS Vocalist Covered A-HA's "Manhattan Skyline" and it Rules

Yeah, A-Ha. The band that did "Take on Me".

Ihsahn and Leprous vocalist Einar Solberg have teamed up for a great cover of Nowegian pop legends A-Ha's 1986 hit "Manhattan Skyline". Also, yes; A-Ha is the band that did "Take on Me". The single is off Ihsahn's new EP Pharos and comes alongside a new music video directed and filmed by Troll Toftenes.

"I never wanted to be as one-dimensional [with] this black metal image," said Ihsahn. "When I turned 40, I stopped caring. But if you start out playing black metal when you're 16, it's hardly because you want to be everybody's favorite."

"There are some hints of A-HA even on the second Emperor album!"

Pharos is out September 11. Pre-orders are available here.
