KEN MODE Drops Pandemic-Driven Fourth Single "Throw Your Phone In The River"

There is an honesty about its simplicity. It also peels out hard.

Canadian noise-makers KEN mode have dropped a fourth single, "Throw Your Phone In The River," off their new album NULL, which will be available everywhere on September 23. You can check the video out above.

Lyrically, vocalist-guitarist Jesse Matthewson said the intent of the track can be heard in one very prominent verse.

“‘I can’t help you if I can’t even help myself. I’m drowning in this cyclical mess, and it just won’t finish me off.’ This is pretty much the sentiment of this one'," said Matthewson. "I wrote it in about an hour one afternoon in the thick of the worst part of 2020. Just banged it all out. It felt perfect in its simplicity."
