KING DIAMOND Played Two New Songs Live, Giving Us Hope For The New Album

"Spider Lilly" and "Electro Therapy" are their names

The new King Diamond record The Institute is starting to reach Chinese Democracy levels of mythos. King Diamond and his band have been talking about working on the record for quite a few years now, yet we've only heard one song called "Masquerade of Madness".

However, King Diamond reignited the flames of hope when he played two brand new, never-before-heard songs at the kickoff to his North American tour on October 15 in San Antonio, TX. Diamond busted out "Spider Lilly" and "Electro Therapy", both of which seem to absolutely reek of old school King Diamond.

I gotta admit – I was losing excitement about The Institute, but these two new tracks got me hooked.

King Diamond is on the road across North America with newly-recruited backing vocalist and organist Myrkur, and openers Overkill and Night Demon (unless otherwise noted). Tickets are available here.
