KXM, which consist of King's X bassist and vocalist dUg Pinnick, Korn drummer Ray Luzier and guitarist George Lynch, has released another single off the upcoming self-titled out Mar. 11. It sounds amazing production wise, which is awesome. All the tones are massive, clearly audible and work extremely well as a cohesive unit. That being said, the music is just boring as hell. The intro section is pretty cool but quickly devolves into a standard rock affair that if played back to back with any artist even remotely similar would be totally indistinguishable. For the sake of this lineup and production I really, really hope the album is better than this.
