Liturgy surprise released their new album H.A.Q.Q. (or Haelegen Above Quality and Quantity) in 2019. The album featured the song "Pasaqalia," and through a series of remixes, band mastermind Hunter Hunt-Hendrix has developed a new track from it titled "Pasaqalia II."
According to Hunter Hunt-Hendrix, the track is a "digital aria" that fits into the ongoing multimodal opera cycle THE OIOION CYCLE, the first installation of which was the live performance of ORIGIN OF THE ALIMONIES, which had its live debut last fall and will see a digital release later this year.
H.A.Q.Q. will see a physical release come May 15.
