As they've done numerous times in the past, Metallica guitarists James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett have performed the Star-Spangled Banner for a San Francisco Giants game. Though this one was done virtually, given the pandemic and the lack of real actual fans physically attending the game.
As for future new Metallica, vocalist and guitarist James Hetfield recently revealed he's been working on it throughout quarantine. Guitarist Kirk Hammett also added he has about 600 ideas for the record as well
