Old Funeral was a short-lived death metal band from 1988 to 1992. The band featured Burzum's Varg and Immortal's Demonaz and Abbath throughout its existence. Old Funeral put out two demos and an EP before calling it quits in favor of other projects at the time and that was that.
Then, on November 15 in Bergen, Norway, the band reunited to play a short set at the BlekkMetal event! Old Funeral played all three songs from its 1990 demo Abduction of Limbs and a cover of Celtic Frost's "Procreation of the Wicked," though only footage of the band playing one song has surfaced thus far.
The performance's lineup for the performance consisted of Olve "Abbath" Eikemo on bass and vocals, Jan Atle "Padden"Åserød on drums and Tore Bratseth on guitars.
