Kaosis has recruited original Slipknot frontman Anders Colsefni and original Mushroomhead vocalist Jeffrey Nothing for their new single "Breaking The Fallen". The track has all the makings of yesteryear's nü-metal, including angular riffing and rapped vocals alongside an overtly "futuristic" music video. If you're pining for the late 90s or early 2000s this morning, this is for you. If not, you're probably not gonna be on board for this one.
"Jeff and I looked at doing this years ago, but it was Xen and the Kaosis mob that made it all possible," said Colsefni. "Jeff is a great vocalist and it was awesome to finally work with him."
Kaosis will hit the road this October in Australia with Colsefni, who will be performing Slipknot's 1996 debut Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat., ex-Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis playing tracks from Mushroomhead's A Killer's Confession.
