Admittedly I haven't really kept up with Powerman 5000 over the years, so I'm not sure what their output has been like. Though I did manage to catch their new single "Black Lipstick" and it's really catchy! Not quite as industrial as I would've imagined, but still an earworm with tons of great hooks throughout. Plus the music video is a blast that doesn't take itself super seriously.
Looks like I'm gonna have to check out Powerman 5000's new album The Noble Rot when it drops on August 28.
