Ten Second Songs, now re-branded as the channel for mastermind Anthony Vincent, has made Queen's generally upbeat track "I Want To Break Free" a whole lot more sinister. Vincent re-imagined the song in a minor key with tons of dark synthwave backing, and it totally rules.
Here are some more recent reimaginings Vincent has compiled:
- This Synthwave Version Of ALICE IN CHAINS' "Man In The Box" Is Real Good
- TYPE O NEGATIVE's "Black No. 1" As A Synthwave Track Kicks Ass
- KORN's “Freak On A Leash” Performed In The Style Of SLAYER, MOTLEY CRUE & THE WEEKND Is Pretty Fun
- Here's MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE's "Welcome To The Black Parade" In The Style Of AVENGED SEVENFOLD
- SLIPKNOT's "Psychosocial" Goes Synthwave Is An Interesting Combination
- Here's GUNS N' ROSES' "Welcome To The Jungle" In The Style Of PERIPHERY, RAMMSTEIN & ALICE IN CHAINS
