Italian metal band, Reality Grey, is consistent about one thing: evolution. Formed in 2004, the band is anything but stagnant and has added another layer to their sound with each release. "Multidimensional Hollow" from their upcoming fourth full-length album Beneath This Crown, is no exception. Melodic, aggressive and catchy, this track adds well placed synths and ambiance to an already well rounded sound, making it complex without being overcomplicated. The new album shows a marked evolution in the band’s sound, something that will intrigue current fans and entice new ones.
The band comments: "With "Multidimensional Hollow" we really wanted to step up our sound and try to experiment with some synths and ambient guitar layers. I think this is where we really started to think outside the box and tried to push ourselves beyond what we did before. The song is heavily influenced by some sci-fi soundtrack, which I was listening to a lot at the time, both sonically and lyrically".
