Much like The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sentinels is bringing the world its own brand of insane technical death metal from the depths of New Jersey. The band recently recruited vocalist Joe Benducci and has chosen us to premiere his work unto the world! Sentinels' brand new song "Neurosis" sounds
Sentinels' brand new song "Neurosis" is going to appeal to fans of bands like The Dillinger Escape Plan, Vildhjarta, and older Periphery and Bermuda. Basically, the dudes can play their instruments and have explained the new song as such.
"Neurosis" is the beginning of a new chapter for Sentinels. Not only is this song a transition into our next collection of material, it is the introduction of our new vocalist Joe Benducci. Joe’s been a good friend of ours for the better part of the past two years. From the first time we all saw him live, we knew there was something seriously special about him. We had him do a guest spot on our song ‘Decadence’ off our ‘World Divide’ EP, and we were blown away listening to him track in the studio over our music.
When our vocalist Robert Petrusky exited the band earlier the next year, we all had Joe in our minds but still wanted to see who else was out there. But as soon as we heard his audition, we immediately knew he was the right guy to compliment and complete our sound. We couldn’t be happier to have him on board, bringing us to a whole new level.
"Neurosis" is a standalone single out October 20, and you can follow the band on Facebook and on Bandcamp.
