Last night, The Smashing Pumpkins celebrated their 30th anniversary at a special show at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ and they had some special guests come on stage and have some fun. One was noted metalhaed Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray fame.
For some reason, Mark came up and performed Sugar Ray's big hit "Fly" with the Pumpkins and then they covered Judas FN Priest's "Breaking the Law," which seems kinda cool?
Deftones' Chino Moreno came up on stage and joined the Chciago foursome for two rare performances – “Bodies” from Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and the Gish track “Snail”. The band hadn't played "Snail" since 2000.
Courtney Love also came out and the Pumpkins covered two Hole tunes "Celebrity Skin" and "Malibu" and then Love stuck around for "Bullet With Butterfly Wings"
