Screaming out of Luxembourg, we have Scarred. Formed in 2003, the band has grown and evolved exceptionally throughout the years. Combining thrash riffs with heavy grooves and intelligent melodies, they offer both creativity and substance. The guitar work is razor sharp, while the bass and drums hammer down some crunchy grooves.
Scarred are now back with their third and self-titled full-length album and the first to feature new singer Yann Dalscheid and this latest single is a prime example of why I am looking forward to this album.
“The last four years have been particularly difficult for us and we had to overcome some adversities in our lives, so this is by far our most personal album to date and working on it was almost like therapy to us. Musically this is also our most diverse album to date, our new vocalist Yann has an incredible vocal range and that gave us the opportunity to branch out and incorporate other influences, so we’re really anxious to release the album this week and find out what people think of it.”
