THE LINDA LINDAS Perform Their Viral Hit on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Teen punk sensation The Linda Lindas absolutely owned the internet last month as their single "Racist, Sexist Boy" went mega-viral, capturing the hearts of jaded punks everywhere. The success even landed them a record deal with Epitaph Records. Yesterday, they made their national television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live performing their hit "Racist, Sexist Boy" and another song.

The band consists of four girls, Bela, Lucia, Eloise and Mila, who range from 10 years old to 16 years old. They describe themselves as “Half Asian / Half Latinx. Sisters, cousins and friends who play music together because it’s fun!!” They've been playing together since 2018 and have already opened for Bikini Kill and briefly appeared in the Netflix movie Moxie.

Variety reports that the band signed to Epitaph. The band have quite a musical pedigree. According to Variety:

Mila’s dad is Grammy-winning producer-engineer Carlos de la Garza, who has worked with dozens of acts but most prominently Paramore, Cherry Glazerr, Best Coast and Bad Religion, whose guitarist Brett Gurewitz founded Epitaph. Eloise’s father is Martin Wong, co-founder and editor of Giant Robot magazine.
