St. Louis' The Lion's Daughter recently released, Future Cult, their third and most ambitious full-length album. The new album, which arrived last week, blends synthwave and sludge metal into 10 wildly unique and captivating tracks. It's not only a distinct album for the band but metal as a whole in 2018. Thankfully, the new music sounds just as good live as it does on the album, as a recent video from their performance at the Ready Room in St. Louis shows.
The video, by way of Grindstopher Productions, shows the band ripping through Future Cult's second track, "Call the Midnight Animal." The multiple camera angles showcase the band as a unit as well as a vantage point of drummer Erik Ramsier blasting and pounding his way through the low-end of the track.
