Threshold, the proggy gents from Surrey, England, return with their 12th LP, Dividing Lines, this November 18, courtesy of Nuclear Blast Records. Dividing Lines celebrates a continuum in Threshold’s lineup, being the second album to feature vocalist Glynn Morgan, after reuniting with Threshold for their previous LP, Legends Of The Shires, in 2017. The first offering from Dividing Lines is the sound of “Silenced,” the album’s first single and accompanying, stunning new video, which you can watch above.
The video was filmed by Sitcom Soldiers in the UK who also filmed the band´s last video “Small Dark Lines” off Legends. Keyboardist Richard West had this to say about song: “‘Silenced’ is about how we seem to be heading towards less voices, less artists, less venues, less platforms where everyone can be heard. People seem so scared to speak out or debate anything anymore. I know I sound old, but I miss the good old days! When freedom of speech goes then society is lost."
A pre-order/pre-save of Dividing Lines can be found here. Threshold is currently made up of Glynn Morgan on vocals, Karl Groom on guitars, Richard West on keyboards, Steve Anderson on bass, and Johanne James on drums.
