While they're working on a new album, Ulver is giving us all a live album titled Hexahedron – Live at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter. The album was filmed and recorded in April 2018 at the Henie Onstad Kunstsenter in Høvikodden, Norway, and will be released on August 20. In the meantime, you can stream the song "A Fearful Symmetry", which eventually became "Little Boy" off the 2020 album Flowers Of Evil.
"An almost ten-minute excerpt from our 'hypercube' experience at Henie Onstad Art Centre back in April 2018.
"As you will hear and see, we're toying around with an idea which not so long after became 'Little Boy' on Flowers of Evil. There's one other such (small) section from this gig, which might be recognisable from that album – otherwise it's unheard/unpublished music. An hour, all in all. And quite the trip! ?
"Sincere gratitude to André Løyning for filming and putting this footage together. Thanks also to the lovely people at Henie Onstad for asking us to do this in the first place."
Pre-orders are available here in the US, the EU, and the UK.
